What does this jewelry represent?

The Vikings believed that only the bravest warriors, when they finally fell in battle, were chosen to spend the afterlife in Valhalla. This is Odin's great hall in Asgard. There they live and feast until they are called on to fight again alongside the gods at Ragnarok. There can be no greater honor.

Odin chooses the fallen warriors with the help of the Valkyries, his divine shield maidens. This skull motif with Valkyrie wings on the side represents the warriors of Valhalla and the courage that it takes to get there.
