Mjolnir, the hammer of Thor, is the most iconic Viking symbol, representing divine protection. This replica of the Ödeshög Mjolnir, discovered in Östergötland, Sweden, embodies the Viking spirit of resilience and reverence for the gods.
Thor, the strongest among the Aesir, wielded Mjolnir to defend both the divine realm of Asgard and the human realm of Midgard against the forces of chaos. This pendant, signifying protection, was a common talisman among the Vikings, retaining its importance even into the Christian era as a symbol of fidelity to the old gods.
The original Ödeshög Mjolnir, crafted in silver using granulation and filigree techniques, is meticulously reproduced in bronze for this pendant. Our artisans employ the lost wax method to capture every detail, ensuring that this piece reflects the ancient artistry in its full glory.
