What does this jewelry represent?

It was very common for the Vikings to wear pendants in the shape of Mjolnir, Thor's hammer. It was a symbol of protection, as Thor protected the world of men with this hammer, and also an aspirational symbol. Thor was the ultimate warrior.

This large Mjolnir pendant (4.8mm in length) is decorated with the marks of the Valknut and the Triquetra.

The Valknut is the symbol of Valhalla, the great hall of Odin in Asgard, where all fallen warriors hope to find themselves in the next life. It was a symbol of a life well-lived, and the courage and strength required of warriors.

The Triquetra is a symbol linked with nature and is associated with natural witchcraft. Among the Vikings, this was Seidr magic.
