What does this jewelry represent ?

While it can be tempting to think of the Vikings simply as ferocious warriors, they also prized intelligence.

One of the reasons that they were so successful against their neighbours was the superior technology of their ships and weapons, which required great inventors and craftsmen.

It is no coincidence that their chief god, Odin, was the god of both war and wisdom.

Odin has many attributes, but one of his most distinctive attributes as the god of wisdom were his two ravens, Huginn (thought) and Muninn (memory).

These birds travelled the worlds of the Norse cosmos and told Odin what they say there.

This ring represents the two ravens of Odin using an authentic Urnes style design, which was popular among the Vikings in the late 11th and early 12th centuries.

The result is an authentic piece that is ideal for marking yourself out as a modern-day Viking, and showing your respect for the Viking quality of wisdom.
