In the east, it was the most popular symbol among the Vikings, worn much like the Mjolnir amulets in the west as a powerful sign of protection.

The pendant features a stag with mighty horns, representing Eikþyrnir, the majestic stag that stands atop Valhalla, the hall where brave Viking warriors hope to find themselves after death. Beneath the stag, a small raven is depicted, symbolizing Odin, the chief of the Viking gods, who embodies both wisdom and war.
