What does this apparel represent?

The Vikings used a runic alphabet known as Younger Futhark, which was an evolution of older runic traditions.

While the Vikings did not leave behind many written records, they regularly used their runes for magical purposes. They are often found carved on items as symbols of luck, protection, and good health.

Runemasters were highly respected in the Viking community and are often mentioned in the sagas.
