What does this jewelry represent?
A Viking would never go into battle without their roundshield. It was a weapon of both protection and attack, used to slam into enemies.
This sterling silver shield pendant is embellished with an image of a snake, circling and holding its own tail in its mouth, forming the Ouroboros, the symbol of eternity.
This is Jormungadr, the might serpent that lives in the water surrounding Midgard. He is so large that he can circle the whole world and hold his tail in his mouth.
He is destined to fight to the death with Thor at Ragnarok.
