What does this jewelry represent ?

The Triquetra was a common symbol that appeared throughout the Norse and Celtic worlds. What exactly this symbol meant to the Vikings is not clearly known.

It is thought to have been related to the Valknut.

The Valknut symbol of three interlocking triangles was associated with Odin in his role as god of war and death.

It is thought have been a symbol of Valhalla, Odin's hall which also acted as an afterlife for Viking warriors that died bravely in battle The deceased warriors would live there in happiness until they were called on to fight again in the final battle of Ragnarok.

The symbol often appeared on the graves as warriors, either to show visitors that they were in Valhalla, or encourage Odin to take their spirit there.

For modern Vikings the Triquetra has become a symbol associated with the worship of Odin, a warrior's bravery, and the interconnectedness of this life and the next.

Carry these ideas with you everywhere you go with these finely designed Triquetra silver earrings.
