What does this jewelry represent ?
The Valknut, the symbol of three intersecting triangles, represented Valhalla to the Vikings. This was the great hall of Odin in Asgard.
Odin, with the assistance of his Valkyries, chose the bravest fallen warriors to spend the afterlife in Valhalla. There they would feast and fight until they were called on again to fight in the final battle of Ragnarok alongside the gods.
All Viking warriors aspired to find themselves in Valhalla and lived and died bravely to earn their place.
This stunning gold ring uses the Valknut as its signal. The name of Odin is inscribed on the side of the ring in Viking runes.
