This viking camping hatchet is just like the Valkyrie goddesses in Scandinavian mythology. Shapely, small, light weight but strong and hard.

This hatchet specially made for hiking and camping, which due to its small size and light weight you can take with you to the forest, hikes or camping. The head of the hiking axe is stainless steel, so you will have a really useful and effective help in nature.

The handle is made of beech wood, very hard, strong and comfortable to grip. On the handle of the hatchet is a valkyrie symbol carving, and on the head, – etched by hand – is the face of a valkyrie goddess. 

The Valkyries are beautiful goddesses who helped the most heroic men get to Valhalla after the battle. Originally, they ride wolves, but in modern films, paintings, and other arts, Valkyries typically appear as beautiful protective virgins racing on winged horses.

The Valkyries – unlike the ancient, traditional female roles – were not defenseless single women who longed for the protection of the man, but also made independent decisions and took part in battles. It is believed that the leader of the Valkyries was the beautiful Freya, who is the goddess of fertility, love and beauty.

Interestingly, in Viking mythology, the Northern Lights were considered a strange vibrating light flooded by the Valkyrie armor.
