The Vendel Pendant represents a warrior of the time armed with a spear and sword and protected by a helmet decorated with plaques and a boar-shaped cimera. This image is based on the decorative plates used to decorate helmets like those found in Vendel, Välsgarde, or Sutton Hoo.
These plates were discovered during an excavation in 1870 and are exhibited in the Statens Historiska Museum. They provide valuable insights into Viking culture and craftsmanship.
