Description : What does this product represent?

In Norse cosmology, Yggdrasil sits at the center of the universe and is responsible for feeding and nourishing the worlds and maintaining order. Each of the nine worlds of the Norse cosmos is tucked into Yggdrasil's roots and branches. The tree acts as a connecting gateway between the worlds, but also holds them separate and in place.

The image of Yggdrasil has long been symbolic of belief in the old ways. It also represents a connection with nature, and is often associated with earth magic practices. This fine bronze piece recreates a traditional Viking representation of the universal tree.
