Thor’s Hammer, known as Mjolnir, was more than a weapon it was a symbol of strength and divine protection. It defended the gods in Asgard and mankind in Midgard from the ever-threatening chaos of the giants.

This rough version of Mjolnir captures the raw essence of the Viking spirit. Not every warrior had access to the finest smiths but the need for protection, and allegiance to the old gods, was universal.

Worn throughout the Viking world and even into the Christian era, the hammer stood for those who remained loyal to Odin and Thor, long after temples gave way to churches. It became a quiet rebellion, a sign of identity etched in silver.

This pendant, forged in sterling silver with a weathered finish, honors that legacy. It’s not about polish it’s about power. It’s for those who stand unshaken, proud of their roots and their path.

I wanted a hammer similar to the one on the amulet discovered at Hesselbjerg, this is what I received. Stylised in a “rough” way rather than smooth but perfect and better than I imagined. Well made and fits perfectly with the Silver chain which is itself excellent quality. My photo includes a shield also from VKNGJEWELRY, they go well together. These are all a tribute to the Danish part of my ancestry. Will be back in the future.
