Bronze and brass Viking rings handcrafted with the same symbolic intention as the rest of the VKNG collection — every motif historically grounded, every ring made to order in your exact size. Bronze is not a compromise material. It is one of the oldest metals in human ornamental history, used across the ancient and medieval world for rings, amulets and fittings precisely because of its warmth, density and durability. The Vikings worked in bronze. So do we.
The Symbolism Behind the Collection
- Odin — the Allfather, god of wisdom, war and wanderers — appears in more designs here than any other symbol, from the Odin Ring with Valknut to the paired Raven rings.
- Huginn and Muninn — Odin's two ravens, Thought and Memory — fly out each day and return with everything they have seen.
- The Vegvisir, the runic compass of the Icelandic grimoires, worn so its bearer will never lose their way.
- The Helm of Awe, Ægishjálmr — eight arms radiating from a centre point, worn for protection and invincibility in battle, here in multiple versions including the Raven variant.
- Jörmungandr, the World Serpent, coiling around the band.
- Fenrir, the great wolf, the uncontainable force destined to face Odin at Ragnarök.
- The Valknut in two versions — the Signet Runic and the Mammen Ornament — carrying its association with Odin and the courage required to face death on your own terms.
- The Drakkar longship in three versions, including the Mammen ornamental style drawn directly from the archaeological find in Denmark.
- The Elder Futhark rune alphabet engraved across the full band width.
- Thor's Goat Tanngrisnir — a rarely depicted creature, the goat Thor slaughtered and resurrected each night to feed his companions.
- Sleipnir, Odin's eight-legged horse.

Bronze and brass rings across the full range of Norse and Celtic iconography, all made to order in your exact size. Prices start from $35 for entry-level rings, with the core range sitting at $54–$59, and the more detailed Odin with Valknut ring at $83. Is bronze a good material for a ring worn daily?
Bronze is dense, warm in tone, and ages well — developing a natural patina over time that many wearers value. It will not flake or peel because it is not plated. A light polish restores the original finish if preferred. It is a solid, honest material that the Vikings themselves used for centuries.
Can I get the same design in silver or gold?
Most designs in this collection can be produced in 925 sterling silver or gold. Use our Custom Made Jewelry service to request a specific design in a different material.
How long does production take?
