This bronze serpent charm is the perfect piece to add Viking style to your own impressive locks. The symbol is linked with some of the darker elements in Norse mythology.

The serpent is one of the symbols of the trickster Jotun Loki. While Loki is not wicked, he always acts in his own best interest and is always willing to take risks for big rewards. While he usually manages to get out of the scrapes that he causes, he is a reminder that actions have consequences.

His son Jormungandr is the great serpent that lives in the Midgard sea. The gods placed the snake there because they feared his great power. But in these deep waters, he grew large enough to encircle the entire world and hold his own tail in his mouth. He will only drop his tail at Ragnarok. Jormungandr represents the things that men and gods fear most, but fears must be faced, just as Thor must face Jormungandr at the end of days.

This bronze serpent hair charm is cool, attractive, and carries some interesting Norse stories, ideal for the modern Viking.
