Los lobos son algunos de los animales más importantes de la mitología nórdica.
La feroz giganta Angrboda era la cabeza de una manada de lobos, y uno de sus hijos con el embaucador Loki era el poderoso lobo Fenrir.
Los dioses Aesir temían tanto el poder y la fuerza de Fenrir que lo engañaron y lo encadenaron en una isla aislada donde no podía hacer daño.
Pero jugará un papel importante en Ragnarok, el fin de los días.
Según la profecía, dos hijos lobo de Fenrir, Skoll y Hati, persiguen el sol y la luna por el cielo.
Cuando finalmente atrapen a su presa, comenzará el Ragnarok. Fenrir romperá sus cadenas y correrá por el cosmos, devorando todo a su paso.
También devorará al propio Odin antes de que lo detengan.
Así, los lobos representaban las fuerzas del caos, pero los vikingos reconocieron que el caos era una parte esencial de la vida.
El propio Odín siempre está acompañado por dos compañeros lobo, Atrás (codicia) y Freki (voraz).
Como tales, representan el lado más oscuro del guía, los elementos caóticos de su personaje que, sin embargo, lo acompañan a lo largo de la vida.

So I figured I'd give it a good long try before posting a review and with that said;
Initially I planned/thought I'd be able to fit it on my index finger but it only went half-way on there. However, fortunately it is a perfect fit for my ring finger and I ended up liking it there on my right hand even more as it leaves my index finger and middle finger free to use my computer mouse with, without metal clinking on my mouse.
I love this ring. All the intricate patterns and details from nose to ears make it feel more than just a ring.. and the triquetra on each side makes it even better as it's one of my favorite symbols due to variety of reasons.
The only difficult thing is removing it from the finger but it isn't a big deal because twisting it to the sides (or downwards) helps removing it. I won't have to worry about it falling off my finger which is a good thing.
Anyhow thanks for another quality viking themed product!
