Description : What does this product represent?

To the Vikings, the runes were much more than just an alphabet. As well as being used to describe the world, they believed that the runes could be used to shape the world. Many Viking warriors were also runemasters.

Odin learned the secrets of the runes by hanging himself from the tree Yggdrasil for nine days and nine nights, pierced by his own sword. He then shared their secrets with mankind.

The Vikings were also known for their impressive hair, often decorated with beads and other ornaments.

This silver hair bead embossed with Viking runes is a perfect but subtle piece for the modern Viking.
