What does this jewelry represent?
This stunning signet ring is the perfect piece for anyone who honors Odin not only as the god of war, but also the god of wisdom.
The signet itself is the horned Triskelion. These represent the three horns in which the Mead of Poetry was stored. Odin tricked the giants that were guarding the mead and drank it in its entirety in order to gain the knowledge held within.
Odin then shared that knowledge with mankind.
Odin famously would do anything for wisdom. He even plucked out his own eye in exchange for a sip of water from the Well of Wisdom. But he always shared his wisdom with his creations, the human race.
On either side of the signet sit two ravens, another symbol of Odin. The god was always accompanied by two of the birds, Huginn (thought) and Muninn (memory), which acted as his eyes and ears in the world.
