What does this apparel represent ?
This high-quality jet-black Hoodie is emblazoned with the Othala rune, the rune most associated with Odin.
It was Odin himself who hung from Yggdrasil for nine days and nights to learn the secrets of the runes and then share them with mankind. The runes are more than just an alphabet, for a master, they were a magical toolkit.
The Othala rune, also known as the Odal rune, is one of the most important since it is the first letter of the name of the god Odin. The runes ᚺᚨᛁᛚ:ᛟᛞᛁᚾ (Hail Odin) are common in the Viking world.
For the Vikings, the Othala rune represented the phonetic sound O and the idea of inheritance and hereditary strength.
In modern rune magic and divination practices, the Othala rune often points towards the ancestors and collective subconscious knowledge. The rune can also be a reminder that we are responsible for our own destiny and to take action.
