Thor’s Hammer, Mjolnir, is the most recognisable symbols from Norse mythology. It was the ultimate symbol of strength, used by the protector of Asgard and Midgard to fight off the chaotic forces of the giants. Thunder and lighting were caused when Thor used his hammer to smash the skulls of these enemies.

The intricate design of this silver Mjolnir pendant features Thor's greatest nemesis, Jormungandr, also known as the Midgard Serpent.

According to the Norse prophecy of Ragnarok, the Viking apocalypse, Thor and Jormungandr will fight to the death at the end of the world.

Thor will slay the serpent with his hammer, but the serpent will spew so much poison onto Thor that he will die within seconds of his success.
