What does this jewelry represent?
This stunning sterling silver signet ring represents many of the attributes of Odin and is the ideal piece for anyone who honors the god.
Odin, the All-Father and creator diety, was also the god of war, wisdom, wanderers, witchcraft, and writing. The Viking associated many distinctive attributes with the god.
Odin was often depicted with his steed Sleipnir, a mighty eight-legged horse, and one of the few beings that could move between the nine worlds of the Norse cosmos with ease. This symbol of Odin as the free wanderer is the signet of this stunning ring.
Each side of the ring features a raven. Ravens were also the familiars of Odin. He had two constant raven companions Huginn (thought) and Muninn (memory) that acted as his eyes and ears in the world.
Seeing ravens circling over the battlefield was always a good omen as it meant that Odin was present to take fallen Warriors to live in Valhalla.
The ring also features detailed triquetra symbols. These were probably linked with Seidr magic, of which Odin was an expert.
This ring is the perfect way to say "Hail Odin".
