What does this jewelry represent?

Sleipnir is the eight-legged steed of the god Odin. He is an impossible being that represents the ability to do the impossible.

Loki, the trickster, is the mother of Sleipnir. As part of his mischief-making, he turned himself into a mare and mated with a mighty horse. The result was the birth of Sleipnir.

The horse had the ability to carry its rider between the nine worlds of the Norse Cosmos at incredible speeds. He was an impossible being that could do the impossible.

This striking Sleipnir signet ring is perfect for the modern Viking that believes in dreaming big and pushing beyond limits.

It is set in a Mammen style band, an artistic style that was popular in Denmark in the 10th century.
