Among the Vikings, the Triskelion was a symbol of wisdom and a silver tongue, and was sacred to Odin as the god of wisdom and poetry (among many other things).
It refers to an event in Odin's life where he snuck into the stronghold of the giants to gain mastery of the spoken word. Odin would famously do anything to obtain knowledge.
The Mead of Poetry was stored by the giants in three great drinking horns, and just a sip would be enough to make a man a poet. But Odin tricked the Vikings and drank all three horns.
The triskelion marks this feat, and celebrates the importance of wisdom and communication.
If these are values that are important to you, then this Norse design triskelion pendant might be just right.
