Description : What does this product represent?

Viking warriors did not fear death, as death was only a step on the journey for a Viking warrior.

They believed that if they died bravely in battle they would be taken to Valhalla, Odin's grand hall in Asgard.

There they would live until they are called on to fight alongside Odin and the Aesir gods in the final battle of Ragnarok.

Therefore death was not to be feared, only to live without courage.

The Valknut was the symbol of Valhalla, and therefore also a symbol of the Viking warrior's courage and destiny.

It is found in association with dead warriors throughout the Viking world.

This stunning sterling silver pendant, which encloses the Valknut in an infinity chain, represents the Viking philosophy of living life without fear.
