What does this jewelry represent?
This stunning bronze pendant features the Valknut, the perfect symbol for the modern Viking.
The Valknut represents Valhalla, Odin's hall in Asgard. Odin chose the bravest fallen warriors to spend the afterlife in Valhalla. There they will feast until they are called on to fight again alongside the gods in the final battle of Ragnarok.
In this piece, the Valknut is surrounded by ravens, which are the familiars of Odin. It was a good sign to see ravens near a battlefield as it meant that Odin was present to choose his warriors.
