What does this apparel represent ?

Vegvisir is one of the magical runic staves found in the Icelandic grimoires of the 18th century. It is also known as the Norse Compass because it is a powerful wayfinding symbol. 

According to the grimoire, when you use the symbol, you will never lose your way, even if you don't know where you are going.

It is also used for spiritual guidance in modern Asatru.
