What does this jewelry represent ?
Yggdrasil, or the Tree of Life, was a major part of Norse mythology.
They believed that this tree connected all of the Nine Worlds together, making it the center of their existence.
Yggdrasil is often depicted with three roots as the Vikings believed these roots extended into other realms.
Within the Tree of Life on this pendant, there’s a rune.
This rune symbolized a double ended staff of life and death, both of which Yggdrasil is said to have provided.
This pendant is almost the Norse version of yin and yang; you can’t have life without death and vice versa.
