What does this jewelry represent?
Viking warriors were feared across Europe as some of the strongest, bravest, and most ferocious. But among the Vikings, the most feared were the Berserkers.
Berserker warriors communed with the spirit of the bear before going into battle to take on the animal's strength and ferocity. They were considered practically indestructible while in this state.
Today the word berserk means to transform and to pull on inner strength to achieve things that seem impossible. While you might not want to transform into a bear, this idea of transformation remains powerful today.
