The Norse skalds told of warriors who not only wielded blades, but also wielded truth like a weapon sharp, unbending, uncompromising.

The Ring of the Noble One bears the Latin phrase custōs vēritātis, “guardian of truth” a declaration of allegiance to honesty and historical clarity. Just as Odin sacrificed an eye for wisdom, those who wear this ring show a readiness to defend what is right, even at cost.

At its center, the shield. More than an ornament, it recalls the protective gear of knights the first line of defense, wielded not passively, but with resolve. The chosen design mirrors those of the late Medieval period, echoing the timeless fight for justice and honor.

On its side, wings echoes of the angelic scribe Metatron, recorder of men’s deeds, and a subtle nod to freedom. For in the old Norse worldview, like in the tales of Valkyries soaring between realms, freedom is earned and fiercely kept.
