What does this jewelry represent?

This stunning sterling silver ring makes the perfect signet for a modern Viking warrior.

On the signet itself is the Valknut, the symbol of Valhalla.

The Vikings believed that warriors who died bravely in battle were taken to Valhalla, Odin's hall in Asgard. There they would feast until they were called on to fight again alongside the gods in the final battle of Ragnarok. This was the ambition of all Vikings.

The ravens were important familiars of Odin, and he was always accompanied by two ravens, Hugunn (thought) and Muninn (memory). Raven images sit on either side of the signet.

It was a good sign to see ravens circling the battlefield as it meant that Odin was present to take the brave fallen to Valhalla.

This is the perfect piece for any modern Viking seeking to live withcourage and earn their way to Valhalla.
