Description : What does this product represent?

The Helm of Awe, Aegishjalmur, was a potent Viking magical symbol. According to the Icelandic magical grimoires, warriors drew the mark on their head to ensure victory and find courage.

The user could not fail, either defeating their enemy or rising to Valhalla.

Valhalla is the hall of Odin in Asgard, where warriors who die bravely in battle are taken to feast alongside the other great warriors until they are all called on to fight again alongside Odin at Ragnarok.

This flat-design bronze ring couples the Helm of Awe with two ravens, which are a symbol of Odin.

Odin has two familiar ravens, Huginn (thought) and Muninn (memory), that act as his eyes and ears in the world. It was also a good sign to see ravens circling the battlefield, as it meant that Odin was present to choose his warriors.

This combination of elements makes this the perfect ring for modern Viking warriors seeking the courage to reach Valhalla.

the ring is good looking, the etching of the runes and ravens look good and the fit is great, it looks almost 1 to 1 as the picture on site
that said the metal itself is a bit thinner then I expected from the photos

but the downside as I see it is that after only 2-3 hours of wearing it, it left a ring of green oxide on my finger, as can be seen in the image... I hope this will not be a reoccurring problem as that is a major downside
