What does this jewelry represent?

In Norse mythology, Sleipnir is an impossible creature capable of doing the impossible. He represents the ability to dream the impossible.

Sleipnir is impossible because his mother is Loki. As part of one of his tricks, Loki turned himself into a mare in order to distract a mighty stallion. The result was that later he gave birth to Sleipnir.

Sleipnir was a horse with eight legs, which allowed him to move with ease between the nine worlds of the Norse cosmos, something that was impossible for most beings.

On the pendant, a traditional image of Sleipnir is placed within a circle of magical runes. A potent Viking symbol is also placed at each of the cardinal points.

These include the Valknut, the symbol of Valhalla, and the Triquetra, the symbol of Seidr magic.
